Controlled supplier outreach

Trailer sales procurement built on one RFQ basis

TrailerScope Procurement translates a business hauling task into a comparable request for candidate original manufacturers. The service organizes requirement capture, quotation clarification and evidence requests; the buyer retains supplier selection, technical approval and purchase authority.

Request Factory Quotes

Four controls

Keep every candidate factory on the same request

Duty record

Describe cargo, loading, route, operating surface, climate exposure and fixed fit-out. This prevents a general-purpose quote from replacing the actual work profile.

Build record

List body or deck dimensions, material expectations, GVWR, GAWR, empty-weight basis, brakes, coupling, suspension, tires and electrical interface.

Order record

State quantity by configuration and distinguish sample, tooling, drawing approval, production inspection, spare parts and production-order terms.

Delivery record

Use one destination and Incoterm. Identify packing, inland transport, freight, unloading, requested window and the documents expected at handoff.

Like-for-like ledger

Compare specification, cost scope and evidence together

A lower unit price can omit brakes, interior work, inspection or freight. A higher response can include them. The comparison keeps those differences visible rather than treating one headline figure as total procurement cost.

Supplier matching

Questions resolved before the buyer selects a factory

How are candidate manufacturers considered?

Product fit and response to the defined brief guide outreach. Factory identity, capability, document and capacity claims still require order-specific verification; the site does not pre-label a supplier as approved.

How are MOQ and sample terms handled?

Each response should separate minimum order quantity, sample-unit feasibility, tooling, customization and production-order conditions. There is no universal MOQ or sample promise.

Can a family maximum prove payload?

No. Payload depends on the quoted GVWR and empty weight, including installed options and load distribution. Ask for the actual configuration basis.

Who reviews destination compliance?

The buyer engages qualified destination-side parties for import, registration and operating requirements. We coordinate evidence requests but do not issue FMVSS, EPA or state approval.

When does lead time become reliable?

After specification, quantity, production slot, inspection plan and delivery term are confirmed in a current supplier response. Preliminary timing remains planning information.
